Still good after all these years! We've been coming here since way before COVID for our tossed noodle fix. And they were recently featured on the local food vloggers Amanda & Felix! Yay! About time HKNH gets their due. But the secret's out! The same bouncy, fresh made noodles and the delicious won tons. Not surprisingly, prices have gone up a bit over the years but still reasonable. Food is now served on disposable plates and bowls but we're not coming for the presentation. It's the noodles that shine- recommend the tossed noodles which you can get with a combination of toppings if you can't decide. A must have IMO are the won tons (my usual is won ton and duck combo) And the owner is always nice and welcoming.

Been coming here for over 20 years even after they changed owner/management. Very nostalgic for my family so it's a must every time we fly home for a visit

Had a last minute lunch today @ Hong Kong Noodle House w/a good friend and my sister and brother in law . I ordered their Toss noodles w/Char Siu with the soup on the side . Plus a side order of roast duck so everyone could share . Actually their Toss noodles the soup comes on the side that's their signature noodles . Service was fast and friendly and the meal was very filling. Support local

No frills, good food, great price. Service was quick, it tastes like homemade cooking. I got the braised beef and wun tun. The broth was so light, but I added some chili, the braised beef was delicious, but the wun tuns stole the show. I debated buying them frozen to eat later. My husband got the char siu tossed noodle.

If you are in the downtown area and are not uptight with the cultured scenery, stop by Hong Kong Noodle House, located on the first floor of the Chinatown Cultural Plaza. Garage parking is paid by the hour, and is plentiful. It's unfortunate that this once busy plaza has turned into a ghost town, but thankfully the restaurants who were thriving pre-Covid are still hanging around. Hong Kong Noodle House is known for their fresh noodles, dumplings, and meats that are roasted in house. Most items we've tried were delectable, and their broth was something different, having a more 'seafood' touch. My wife's pick is the Beef Tendon & Roast Duck Noodle Soup. They cook the tendon til it's soft, gelatinous and TENDER. Definitely a must try for the adventurous souls! For me, I chose the Tossed (egg) Noodle w/Roast Duck & Vegetable (choy sum). Roast duck was flavorful, though slightly dry, and I wished the choy sum was cooked less to maintain its crunch. They tend to cook the veg til it's soft, so be warned. House made shrimp and pork dumplings had a light flavor to them; definitely not what I'm used to as far as saltiness and overall taste, but it goes well with anything you order on the menu and, of course, I had to give them a try. If you like spice, feel free to ask for some of their house made chili oil. Oh and btw, broth is served on the side for the Tossed Noodles. As for the service - the woman serving the dining room was SO HELPFUL. I'm assuming she's the owner. Aunty made sure we were happy with every dish we decided on, and she answered every question I had. She was patient, friendly, and welcoming to all who walked in as well! A true sign of appreciation to each and every patron. Interior of the restaurant, however, left much to be desired. There is no music playing to diffuse the silence, and the tablecloths appear to be from the 90's. Though the restaurant was significantly outdated, the owner seemed to keep a close eye on the tidiness and sanitation of the tables. Thumbs up for me! Downfall, unfortunately, is that they serve everything on disposables. I despise eating off paper plates and take out goods. Yes, maybe that's the cleaner or only option for their small establishment, but for me, it's just not my thing, not to mention it's so wasteful. Also, the duck was dry in my dish, but I would still go back to try other menu items. Hope you like it! :)

A friend of Craig T. (Gino) took us out to lunch at HKNH. He wanted us to try their made in house noodles. Craig T was kind enough to pick me and my wife up. The restaurant is located in the cultural plaza with the entrance facing Nuuanu Steam. I ordered the beef tendon and pigs feet. This was served over a bed of the house noodles. The soup was served on the side. I really enjoyed the dish. I put a little mixture of shoyu and hot mustered. I didn't need the soup. Gino ordered Choy Sum and Roast Duck from us to share. Both were favorful .Side note; the food was served on paper plates and take out containers. Customer service excellent. Enjoy

Today my brothers friend took us out to lunch close to where I live in chinatown. This place I know we can walk but Craig decided to pick us up and drove over there. This place is right by royal kitchen manapua and Sandy's cafe. Called Hong Kong noodle house. We were there at 11am and I chose the won ton noodle in soup, my brother ordered toss noodles with roast duck and char siu and soup on the side. My husband ordered beef tendon with pig feet also soup on the side. Craig friend ordered green onion and beef soup on the side. Everything was good soup was hot and the noodles thin toss in a light sauce not over powering. Craig's friend also ordered roast duck and Choi sum on the side was good. Never heard of this place and will be back. Not walking there but drive. Lol...

After a long morning of attractions, we decided to stop by chinatown for lunch and came across this restaurant. My husband was craving wonton noodle soup and me & the kids on the other hand, we're bbq meat lovers- they have both! It was around 1 pm, we were the only ones dining in, and the owner who took our order was very nice & helpful. We ordered a wonton noodle soup, half roast duck, an order of roast pork & a few bowls of rice to eat with the meats. The wontons were plumped and meaty, homemade egg noodles were soft & broth was tasty just like in Hong Kong- so good that we ordered another bowl of wonton soup packed with 14-15 wontons. The roast duck and roast pork were flavorful, duck skin was crispy & pork was tender. The only downfall is that they don't have ginger/scallion chicken and roast pig. I would've gotten them all! Overall, we were not disappointed- definitely worth trying.

We were craving Hong Kong Noodle & came back to the O.G. /first place we discovered tossed noodle w/ soup on the side. Changed ownership through the years but the dishes are the same and brings us back to our old school favorites. They're known for their Tossed Noodle dishes but decided to try their Noodle Soup since I was craving wun tun (reasonably priced). Food took a little longer than normal but they did have lots of take-out orders (Sunday lunch). Water served in foam cups, and entrees on paper plates and take-out bowls. We emptied everything and left very satisfied. Cravings filled.
